Look around you. Look at your co-workers, your family, your friends. The people in the grocery store with you. The depressing odds are that those people have been affected in some way by sexual assault or harassment. But how many of those people have talked to you about it? If you are a victim, how many people have you talked to about your own experiences? For some of us, sharing this all too common experience can be a way to heal. A way to reclaim our power. A way to realize that we are not alone.
Join us on February 22nd at Headliners when area storytellers will share their personal stories of victimization, healing and courage. Submit your own story on our webpage for a Company member to tell on your behalf. Be part of the story that affects us all. Have your story told and realize what binds us in pain can also strengthen us in healing.
Thursday, February 22, 2018
Doors open at 7:00, event starts at 8:00

Share your story
How many of us have heard recent stories in the media of assault, abuse and harassment and said "me too?" How many of us have been victims, never realizing that this silent river of heartache runs through our workplaces, our schools, our churches and our families? How many people you interact with on a daily basis share the commonality of trauma? Unless we as survivors share our stories we will never understand the breadth nor depth of abuse. Do you have a story you'd like to share?
